Dear Owners,
This is a reminder that any owner who rents or leases (short or long-term) their property at Bohicket Marina Villas must obtain a business license from the Town of Seabrook Island each year. Click here for forms and information on how to apply for a business license.
In addition, the Town of Seabrook Island amended the ordinance in 2018 as follows:
Section 8-30(c). All owners or agents placing commercial advertisements offering a residential unit in the Town of Seabrook Island for rent or lease shall clearly display the current business license number for that residential unit in the text of such advertisement. No owner or agent may advertise a residential unit in such a way that would result in the violation of this Chapter.
To read more about the advertising requirements click here. To see the complete ordinance, click here.
As a reminder, properties operating without a required license may be subject to a fine of up to $500.00 per day.
Thank you,
Bohicket Marina Village Council of Co-Owners
